Influenster delivery!!!

We have been trying out our new #brauntherms that we got from www.influenster.com to test out. My son is very happy that he doesn't have to get poked or have something in his ear. ESP if he has a cold when his ears hurt. It's been very user friendly and accurate so far!  Would definitely recommend it if you're in the market for a new thermometer.

More toddler car entertainment ideas

Tried to make some more stuff to entertain in the car. Felt Velcro chain. Clothespin color matching pie 

The clothespin thing was ok. Lasted like 5 min though. 

 The only real big hit was the fishing pole and the foam magnetized 

 fish. He still asks to play with it even after the road trip. 

So easy anyone can do it.

Trying to come up with some last minute ideas for this road trip we are about to embark on. Good thing is that one way we will be traveling at night but even one way can be hell. 

Made some counting sticks as he is learning to count in school. I'll let ya know if he enjoys them or throws them out the window 

I had more trouble deciding on WHAT to put on them than actually  doing it. I was trying to decide if shell casings

And wine corks were appropriate to use

More Infiniti scarves!!

I was on a roll today!!! It was so much fun! I  am gonna try two toned (two colors in 1 scarf) and then I will be ready to learn to learn to do something new. 

Learned to sew!!!!

I am super excited that two of my friends  taught me how to sew and now I am able to create this super cool infinity scarf! (Super cute easy and and cheap Christmas gift FYI) I was inspired by and used some of the instructions from the blog post from little bit funky

I also was able to fix and finish the toddler pillow that I started when I first got my machine! 

Bridal showers

It may not be considered crafty but I have been designing decorations and Favors for the bridal showers I have been hosting! 

The silverware holders are upcycled from soup cans ! 

I came up with all of these centerpieces and place settings too :-) 

Hard to see but I put together all these pails of favors , made the tags for them and designed the lantern decorations.

So I have learned about bento lunches and decided to use my craftiness to try them out on my 2 year old. If he's not enjoying them oh well I'm having fun making them. Here are some of  my creations !

Having a kid the crafting takes a little bit of a backseat but I've been trying my hand at food art! 

Made patriotic cake and and redwhiteandblue strawberries for my coworker who got her citizenship.
